Legacy in the Soil

A video story about the Jacobson Farm, a large generational family farm in North Dakota, and the legacy they want to pass on while they struggle with what the future of the farm is by balancing the need for additional income outside of the farm and environmental factors. This video captures the unique perspective that a family in North Dakota has on life and the persevering culture of the area throughout 2021, the hardest year of farming since the 1980’s.
